Originally from Paris, Caroline Muscat has been living in Perth for 17 years. Australian flowers, trees and water are her greatest inspirations. She also loves to paint portraits too.
In 2017, Caroline was selected by the prestigious Black Swan Portraiture Prize and exhibited in Perth City at Le Salon des Refusés.

"Colours are hugely important and they have an impact on my life, my mood and my level of energy. I don't feel the same in a neutral room with white walls and in a room painted in magenta!
Specific patterns and colours created with the heart can catch my eyes and sometimes-no one knows why-go straight to my soul.
I choose to mix my colours in order to convey emotions trying to project one special moment on the canvas."
