My 16 yo daughter and I had an impressionist workshop with Caroline. Being novice in painting I was really amazed by the result of my work. Caroline is a very passionate and inspiring teacher. She believes there is an artist in everyone and she brings out the best of you. If you are interested in art but have never tried, do yourself a favor and participate in the next workshop. You will see how liberating and fun it is !!!!

I recently experienced my first painting workshop with Caroline. It was quite a profound personal experience for me. I would firstly love to mention the stunning and peaceful atmosphere, filled with beautiful colours and inspiration. Secondly how special Caroline is as a teacher, she is so encouraging, motivating and very knowledgeable on art history and technique. I was first nervous about attending an impressionist workshop and I usually like to paint realism, so it was out of my comfort zone. However by the end of the workshop Caroline helped me to let go of judgment and allow myself to trust my work and lean into the chaos!! I am so proud of what I created, and simply cannot wait to have this magical experience again. Thank you Caroline

"Recently I went to Caroline's 'Impressionist Painting Workshop' and had a brilliant time. I'm a slow painter, but with Caroline's energetic tuition, I created 2 pieces in 3 hours. I learned to loosen up and let go- it was a breakthrough for me. Caroline is very knowledgeable, full of enthusiasm and teaches in such a fun way. As well as learning a lot, I laughed a lot too. I always learn more when a teacher presents in a fun way. I think this workshop would be good for people of all levels."

I recently attended Caroline's workshop with my ten year old daughter. I am a complete beginner and I have not touched the canvas or paint brushes since primary school.
I find Caroline is a passionate and very engaging art teacher. She is very reflective and knows how to cultivate one's creativity. She made the experience so easy and fun for all of us in the workshop. I will definitely go back to her classes with my children. (She is great with children too)
If you want to give your impressionist voice a go, I highly recommend her workshops.

What a wonderful way to spend a few hours! Great atmosphere, beautiful music, fragrant teas and a lovely group of artists (and budding artists). Caroline’s Impressionist workshop last Sunday afternoon was the first time I had ever attempted painting, and it won’t be the last. Under Caroline’s cheerful and encouraging tutelage, and access to all her huge array of paints and tools, I was able to produce two works of (almost) art. So much fun! Next time my daughter is coming with me because I know she would love it too.

Mahara Park is a place where light and shadow enmesh together so well and provides us with one of the most beautiful landscapes to paint...
Caroline's workshop was another memorable event. Elise and I created our impressions of earthly colours and water lilies and the final detail was at rest. Our brush strokes and chosen colours were our emotional vocabulary during a wholesome experience. Caroline scaffolded us so well throughout the process...I cannot imagine a better way to finish the week!
